On the 25th of December 2005, a world record was broken in Singapore.
Mr Khoo Swee Chiow broke the current Guinness world record of 212
hours and 30 minutes for the longest scuba dive done in a controlled
environment.
The record was held by British diver Michael Steven in a royal navy tank at
the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham in 1986.
Khoo stayed underwater longer by an extra seven hours and 30 minutes.
Khoo presented Singapore with a Christmas present just past noon
on Christmas Day.
He went underwater on December 16 at about 3.34pm in a special mineral
water tank at Tampines Central, enduring dehydration, nausea, hunger and
boredom.
Khoo's dive suit was specially printed for the record breaking event.
All prints were printed using the latest OBM transfer media from
TheMagicTouch and contoured cut using the Magicut S.M.A.R.T. technology.
Khoo spent close to 10 days in the water, all the while wearing the same
dive suit.
As a world leader in the transfer printing business, TheMagicTouch has once again proven it's
reliability and durability.
